Hello everyone,
The town is anxiously awaiting the inauguration of a new president ,the visitors are due to arrive any minute(4 million of them), and the economy is still in shambles. We need a………miracle. As i watched the footage of that airplane crashing into the Hudson River yesterday,as the passengers were saved and accounted for,I prayed that God will save our country and our economy as he saved those passengers on the plane.
DO YOU THINK OUR NEW PRESIDENT CAN BE LIKE THAT BRAVE PILOT ON THAT PLANE ?
Can our new president help us? Can he steer our country into safety? Is it fair to expect so much from him? Do you think that it was the pilots training that saved those passengers or was it the steering hand of God? I dont have the answers, but I am so glad for the outcome. I want to be saved ,its in my hard drive as a woman.Tired of being afraid, exhausted at keeping on top of my game, sad at hearing my friends and clients losing jobs and homes. The only thing , other than HOPE, that keeps me from breaking down is that:CHILDREN ARE WATCHING.
Thats right, our children are watching us.Very closely. They know something is wrong. My son ,until a few months ago ,thought the word:HOBO was funny. Not any more.He heard a little girl cry at school because her parents were being evicted. He looked up HOMELESS in the dictionary and that took care of the hobo word not being funny anymore. I sure hope this new president can save the day,its wrong to expect so much from him but……
MR PRESIDENT:DO SOMETHING SOON,THE CHILDREN ARE WATCHING.
That is all I have to say.Its so cold outside and Iam grateful to be inside and warm, kinda like those other survivors:GRATEFUL and waiting for a MIRACLE.

Hi, Voula Here:
Prepare For a Night On the Town
What an exciting time to live in Washington, D.C. Everyone is buzzing about the Inauguration. How much traffic will there be? What bridges and highways are closed? Is Oprah really having a star-studded event at the Kennedy Center? Will I be able to get into work that week with the millions of people coming into town?
The Inaugural parties are the best part of the evening. You get to dress up in your beautiful party dresses and head into the city to celebrate one of the most historic moments in history. For those of you lucky enough to have a ticket to a ball, it’s all about the hairstyles to compliment the dress!
Miracles will be open and ready to take care of your Inaugural needs.

Hi, Voula Here:
It’s time to roll out the blue carpet ladies and gentlemen. An inaugural season is to Washington what the Oscars are to Hollywood and Fashion week to New York City—except that an inauguration happens once every four years.
It’s a fabulous time to be out and about with all the great events and festivities around town. Don’t sit at home and watch history happen. Go out and do something and be APART OF HISTORY. Here is a great place to start looking for interesting things to do in January in honor of the Inauguration.

Hello Everyone,
More of the same this week at the salon, with many friends and clients scaling back on Christmas shopping, losing more on retirement accounts and overall trying to stretch the once mighty dollar. Can you imagine how surprised I was to see my neighbors house on Craigslist listed (and rented) for $13,500 for the week of the Inauguration? [click to continue…]
