Hello everyone,
The town is anxiously awaiting the inauguration of a new president ,the visitors are due to arrive any minute(4 million of them), and the economy is still in shambles. We need a………miracle. As i watched the footage of that airplane crashing into the Hudson River yesterday,as the passengers were saved and accounted for,I prayed that God will save our country and our economy as he saved those passengers on the plane.
DO YOU THINK OUR NEW PRESIDENT CAN BE LIKE THAT BRAVE PILOT ON THAT PLANE ?
Can our new president help us? Can he steer our country into safety? Is it fair to expect so much from him? Do you think that it was the pilots training that saved those passengers or was it the steering hand of God? I dont have the answers, but I am so glad for the outcome. I want to be saved ,its in my hard drive as a woman.Tired of being afraid, exhausted at keeping on top of my game, sad at hearing my friends and clients losing jobs and homes. The only thing , other than HOPE, that keeps me from breaking down is that:CHILDREN ARE WATCHING.
Thats right, our children are watching us.Very closely. They know something is wrong. My son ,until a few months ago ,thought the word:HOBO was funny. Not any more.He heard a little girl cry at school because her parents were being evicted. He looked up HOMELESS in the dictionary and that took care of the hobo word not being funny anymore. I sure hope this new president can save the day,its wrong to expect so much from him but……
MR PRESIDENT:DO SOMETHING SOON,THE CHILDREN ARE WATCHING.
That is all I have to say.Its so cold outside and Iam grateful to be inside and warm, kinda like those other survivors:GRATEFUL and waiting for a MIRACLE.

Hi, Voula Here:
It’s time to roll out the blue carpet ladies and gentlemen. An inaugural season is to Washington what the Oscars are to Hollywood and Fashion week to New York City—except that an inauguration happens once every four years.
It’s a fabulous time to be out and about with all the great events and festivities around town. Don’t sit at home and watch history happen. Go out and do something and be APART OF HISTORY. Here is a great place to start looking for interesting things to do in January in honor of the Inauguration.

Hi, Voula Here:
This seasons clothing styles for women are sophisticated and come in elegant jewel tones. Shades of gray are also popular and of course, black is always fashionable. The trends of today are a nod toward yesterday, inspired by classic feminine looks. It’s all about the waist this season. Think about belts and ways to elongate the torso (a better bra, lower cut pants, separates).

Miracles Salon had a party last night, and it was fantastic. Live music, great food and the most important ingredient for a party…a great bunch of people. I would say that the most beautiful people in Washington, D.C were all there. The mood was high and it made my spirit sing to see people happy. We don’t get to see too much merriment around this town that often. For a few hours we were all able to forget our personal problems, our differences, our heart-brakes (mine) and focus on how great life really is when outside factors(cable news media) shout doom and gloom.
Everyone there thought it was a holiday party, and it was, but i was quietly celebrating something else. After eight months of hard work, my website had gone live. www.miraclesinthecity.com was launched just two hours before the party. I felt so excited, so winded, so overwhelmed that I did not announce it at the party. All I could think about was this: job well done!
www.Miraclesinthecity.com is something beyond my expectations. I am impressed and very grateful. Blue Water Media did a fine job. Thank you Patricia Drake and Matt Hurley for “getting me”. Thank you my lovely daughters for helping my dream, even though you thought I was crazed. Thank you my staff for being patient and understanding when I told you I would be back in the store when the site was finished. Thank you my clients for if it wasn’t for you, none of this would have been possible.
Above all I thank God.
Now if you can excuse me, I am off to become a dot com mogul.
**Check out some of the GREEK DANCING at the party
